Introducing…. TOKENS!!!
Starting October 2025 we launched our token program to bring a simplified process to our expanded methods for children to access our services.
Why?
As part of our efforts to encourage positive community engagements, and to make our services affordable for children of every demographic we started our own token program for children.
‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ We want to be valuable role models to our community children while developing their social skills and creative thinking.
Token Acquisition
Token Value = $8 value
Tokens can be:
purchased in advance or on location,
hidden by us & found by your child throughout community,
actions of good deeds we happen too catch children performing for someone else’s benefit,
trades of gently used or new toys for our Secret Elf Program,
redemption of tickets from our activity booklets
submissions of our coloring pages,
quarterly report cards with A’s & B’s, or otherwise show of progress/improvement for IEP/ILP/non-traditional students,
and contests.
Token Use:
Tokens can be redeemed for any individual service facepaint, twisted, balloon, glitter, tattoo, or crazy hair do where each of the four levels of service ranging from basic simple services to maximum large level services are 1 token each.
Sablefish - Level 1 - Small: 1 token
Coho - Level 2 - Medium: 2 tokens
Sockeye - Level 3 - Large: 3 Tokens
Chinook - Level 4 - XLarge: 4 Tokens
Tokens can be combined, compounded, and collected for future use.
Great as gifts, stocking stuffer, or reward system that parents can utilize to encourage positive behavior in their child’s developing mind.
Home of the *FREE* Birthday Paint and Twist
Have an upcoming birthday kiddo or know someone with kids??? Or an expecting mother???
We provide FREE* face or body painting, and/or a twisted balloon to children under 18 for their birthdays, or belly bump painting for expecting mothers.
*Restrictions: Zero travel fee limited to Wasilla and Palmer residents. Residents in Willow, Big Lake, Eagle River, and Anchorage may still receive the service for free, however a $0.50/mile travel fee will apply. Service must be scheduled to be provided within +/-15 days of the child’s actual birthday or prior to the expecting mother’s birthing date. Absolutely no obligation to book a party, as this is our gift to your child or the honoring of your new baby to come.
How’s this work? — About a month or so before the child’s birthday/baby-shower, when you're planning what to do, contact us to book your preferred date and time. An artist will come and paint/twist for the birthday child/expecting mother only. Birthday child/expecting mother may choose any design paint and style twist they’d like.
But what about siblings/others in the family that might want painted too? — If there are others in the family who also want a paint or twist those can be paid for individually.
What if we want to make it a party?! — Don’t fret. Let us know your party plans and we can switch over to one of our many hourly rate party plans. Birthday child is never included in your guest count, this way you're still getting the savings for the birthday kiddo.
